At RioTrend, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with every purchase. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your apparel or book purchase, we offer a straightforward return policy to facilitate your needs. Please carefully review the following guidelines:

Apparel Returns

1. Eligibility

  • Apparel items are eligible for return within 7 days of the delivery date. which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
  • To qualify for a return, apparel items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags attached.
  • You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

2. Initiating a Return

  • To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team support email within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • In your email, provide your order number and specify the item(s) you wish to return along with the reason for the return.

3. Return Authorization

  • Once your return request is approved, we will provide you with a return authorization number (RA#) and instructions on how to proceed with the return.
  • Please do not ship the item(s) back without obtaining a return authorization as returns without RA# may not be processed.

4. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part or a defective item.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure the safe return of the item(s).
5. Packaging
  • Pack the apparel items securely in their original packaging or a suitable alternative to prevent damage during transit.
  • Include the return authorization number (RA#) on the outside of the package

6. Inspection and Refund

  • Upon receiving the returned item(s), our team will inspect them to ensure they meet the return eligibility criteria.
  • Once the inspection is complete and the return is approved, we will issue a refund to your original form of payment.
  • Please allow 10-15 business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account.

Book Returns

1. Eligibility

  • Books are eligible for return within 5 days of the delivery date.
  • To be eligible for a return, books must be in their original condition, unmarked, and free of any damage.

2. Initiating a Return

  • To initiate a return for a book purchase, please contact our customer support team via email within 5 days of receiving your order.
  • Include your order number and specify the book(s) you wish to return along with the reason for the return.

3. Return Authorization

  • Similar to apparel returns, you will receive a return authorization number (RA#) and detailed return instructions upon approval of your return request.

4. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for book returns unless the return is due to an error on our part or a defective item.

5. Packaging and Inspection

  • Package the book(s) securely to prevent damage during transit and include the return authorization number (RA#) on the package.
  • Upon receipt, our team will inspect the returned book(s) to ensure they meet the return eligibility criteria.

6. Refund Process

  • Once the inspection is complete and the return is approved, we will issue a refund to your original payment method.
  • Please allow 10-15 business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account.

7. Exclusions and Additional Notes

  • Certain apparel items such as underwear and swimwear may not be eligible for return due to hygiene reasons unless they are unopened and in their original packaging.
  • We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet our return policy criteria or are received outside of the specified return window.
  • If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately for assistance. We may require photo evidence of the damage for our records.
  • Returns received without a valid return authorization number (RA#) may not be processed and may be returned to the sender at the sender's expense.
